The Stray Hare Barber Shop (“we”, “us”) operates this website and the barbershop at 2 Frederick St, Waldwick, New Jersey. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
When you fill in a form on this site, either the contact form or a careers application, we collect the details you choose to give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, and anything you write in the message field. We only ask for what we need to reply to you.
When you visit the site, our host records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the pages you view. This is used to keep the site running and to understand which pages people find useful.
Appointments are handled by Booksy, a third-party booking platform. When you click “Book Now” you leave this site and any information you enter is collected by Booksy under their own privacy policy, not ours. Please review their policy before booking.
We use what you send us to respond to enquiries, schedule and confirm appointments, consider job applications, and, where you have asked for it, send occasional news and offers. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers who help us run the shop and this website.
If you sign up for updates, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly. We will remove you promptly.
This site uses a small number of cookies that are necessary for it to function, and may use analytics cookies to measure traffic. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies in their settings; the site will still work if you do.
We keep enquiry and application records only as long as we have a reason to, then delete them. We take reasonable steps to protect what we hold, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. We do of course cut children's hair. In that case a parent or guardian books the appointment.
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us using the details below and we will take care of it.
If this policy changes we will post the updated version on this page and change the date at the top.
